Kirsten Dierolf: As a coach, if you entertain this kind of philosophy, you can coach in a much lighter way. You can be super respectful to your client. You can connect to your clients. You are beyond right and wrong ways of interacting. Kirsten Dierolf: And it's just a much, much funner way to coach. So I want to seduce you a little bit to entertain: who are you as a coach when you drop your tools? Tobi: Most coaches, and also myself, really enjoy learning new theories and methods. My guest today tells us that being that kind of framework-heavy psy expert, as she calls it, can be very much in the way of a good coaching session. Her name is Kirsten Dierolf, and she trains coaches in solution-focused and narrative coaching, building on a philosophy of social constructionism.
