Tobi: Have you ever been part of an assessment center, either as a candidate or maybe even on the recruiting side? For today's guest on the Making of a Coach, this is daily business. Marcel Häbold originally dreamed of becoming a radio moderator, and that is why he started out as an apprentice at a German media company. Tobi: He grew into several HR business partner roles until he eventually got fired from Amazon. That was the point when he decided to make a change in his life and eventually started out as a coach. Today he helps large companies select their leaders in assessment centers. Tobi: I was impressed by how this requires him to be an actor in a role play and at the same time observe the candidate and hold the space for all other participants. Towards the end of this episode Marcel put me into such an assessment situation. So let's not lose time and get started.
